Max Planck Day 2018
70th anniversary of the foundation of the MPG - 160th birthday of Max Planck - 100th anniversary of his Nobel Prize award
On September 14, 2018, the Max Planck Society's major nationwide science festival will take place.
But the Max Planck Day is not only meant to celebrate these milestones; instead, Vice President Bill Hansson says: "We want to celebrate the future".
Background information on the event can be found on the MPG-Website and in an interview with Bill Hansson (Vice President of the MPS).
On September 14, different events will take place in/at all Max Planck Institutes: Lectures, guided tours, science cafés, science slams, exhibitions.....
A list of all events will soon be available on the MPS page.
