Welcome to the institute: Our new trainees 2024

Eight young talents start their professional future

On September 1, 2024, we welcomed eight new trainees to the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion, who are now starting their professional careers here with us. We are particularly pleased that we are once again able to train talented young people in various specialist areas under the leadership of our training team, consisting of Patricia Malkowski, Nina Breuer and Tobias Stamm.

Our new team of trainees includes four prospective chemical laboratory technicians who will get to know the exciting world of experiments with chemical substances and analyzing mixtures of substances in the coming years. The team will be complemented by two motivated physics laboratory assistants who will deal with the challenges of physical investigations and measurement methods.
We are also pleased to have new recruits in the technical area: an industrial mechanic will discover the complex world of machines and systems, while an electronics technician for devices and systems will prepare to develop and maintain sophisticated electronic devices.

We warmly welcome our new trainees and look forward to accompanying them on their journey and supporting them in their development. We wish them a successful start and many exciting experiences during their training!
