The Essener Wirtschaftsförderung (Essen Economic Development Agency) invited Prof. Robert Schlögl, Director of MPI CEC and FHI Berlin to give a talk in the frame of a discussion titled „Wirtschaftsimpulse Ruhr. Energie mit Zukunft!“

Schlögl talked about the chances and challenges for companies in regard to renewable energies. He also visualized the enormous amount of daily  CO₂  emission, and showed that Germany’s 2.600.000 t make only 3% of the worldwide daily emission. Schlögl stressed the importance to approach climate change and energy policy globally instead of locally.
