On November 1, 2019, the MPI CEC was able to win <link>Prof. Regina Palkovits as Max Planck Fellow.
The university professor is <link https: www.itmc.rwth-aachen.de cms itmc das-institut team regina-palkovits>Chair holder for heterogeneous catalysis and technical chemistry at the RWTH Aachen University and works on heterogeneous catalysis and material design in order to tackle the global challenges of our time by developing sustainable chemical processes.
Regina Palkovits is now a <link>Max Planck Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion in Mülheim, Germany, where she focuses on building a bridge between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis with the concept of solid molecular catalysts.
The Max Planck Fellow Program of the Max Planck Society promotes cooperation between outstanding university professors and scientists of the Max Planck Society. The appointment of Max Planck Fellows is limited to five years and at the same time involves the leadership of a small research group at a Max Planck Institute. Dr. Palkovits is looking forward to the new challenge and the intensive cooperation with the scientists at the MPI CEC.
In addition to Prof. Palkovits, <link>Prof. Martin Muhler is currently a Max Planck Fellow at the MPI CEC. He is involved in heterogeneous redox catalysis and is professor at the Ruhr University Bochum.
Welcome to MPI CEC!
