Prof. Wolfgang Gärtner, leader of the group  '<link http: www.cec.mpg.de research heterogeneous-reactions external-link-new-window internal link in current>Photoreceptors' at the MPI CEC in the department 'Heterogeneous Reactions', just became a member within the Editorial Board of the <link http: www.jbc.org external-link-new-window external link in new>Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC). Prof. Gärtner works especially within the affinity groups „Signal Transduction“ and „Molecular Biophysics“.

All candidates undergo a rigorous selection process, are experienced scientists and have to exhibit distinguished research records. 

The JBC is published since 1905 and releases as a peer-reviewed scientific journal articles on biochemistry and molecular biology.
