A crew of MPI CEC scientists took part to the 18th International Congress on Catalysis (ICC2024) last week in Lyon. The CEC attendees were delighted by the excellent scientific program with inspiring lectures and fruitful discussions, packed altogether in nice venue and surroundings.

The cross-departmental contingent also brought the science made at MPI-CEC into the spotlights of ICC2024 through numerous contributions with oral talks and poster presentations across diverse sessions of the conference.

These CEC contributions have received stimulating and enthusiastic feedbacks from the peers. Among these, two Young Talent labels were awarded to Nicolas Kaeffer and Gabriel Durin, who also earned an IACS travel grant to attend the congress.
