Chen-Hao Wang, Postdoc in Serena DeBeer’s Department Inorganic Spectroscopy, was recently awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers.
Chen-Hao completed his Ph.D. at Prof. David Powers' research group at Texas A&M University, and joined the DeBeer Department as a post-doctoral researcher afterwards. At the MPI CEC he studies the electronic structure and reactivity of FeMoco in biomimetic solid-state supports. "I am very excited about my project at the MPI CEC, and thankful for the fellowship!" says Chen-Hao.
The Humboldt Research Fellowship sponsors postdoctoral and experienced researchers with above-average qualifications from all nationalities and research areas. The fellowship offers researchers the opportunity to conduct their own research in collaboration with a host at a research institution in Germany.
