This event is a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students as well as postdocs to obtain knowledge from renowned scientists being experts in their fields. The workshop covers 12 introductory lectures relevant to bioinorganic chemistry and corresponding hands-on trainings in small groups.
Researchers from Max Planck Institutes in Mülheim are taking actively part in this event. <link internal-link internal link in current>Prof. Serena DeBeer, <link internal-link internal link in current>Dr. Eckhard Bill (both MPI CEC) and <link https: www.kofo.mpg.de de forschung molekulare-theorie-und-spektroskopie external-link-new-window internal link in current>Prof. Frank Neese (MPI KOFO) are going to give introduction to X-ray Spectroscopy, Mössbauer Spectroscopy and Coordination Chemistry, respectively. Members of their groups are going to support the participants in the practical part of the workshop. The participants can expect help from the enthusiastic tutors: Vijay Chilkuri and Christine Schulz (both MPI KOFO) as well as George Cutsail III, Rebeca Gomez-Castillo, Benjamin Van Kuiken and Casey Van Stappen (all MPI CEC).
