On the occasion of the jubilee a beautiful ceremony took place on July 14th, 2017 in the lecture hall of the Physical and Theoretical Chemistry at the University of Bonn.
Certainly the highlight was the revelation of the Mulliken memorial plaque and the subsequent garden party at the Mulliken Center.
Next to Prof. Neese, who took part in the ceremony and gave a lecture, Stefan Grimme and co-founder Sigrid D. Peyerimhoff, who gave an interesting review of the past 50 years of Theoretical Chemistry in Bonn, joined the ceremony.
