Around 100 experts and specialists (industrialists, scientists, politicians) from more than 20 countries met to discuss the clobal 'Energiewende'. On occasion of the 15th IERE General Meeting & German Forum on <link http: iere-forum-berlin.com _blank>„International Energy Systems in Transition: Perspectives from Science and Industry“, from November 11th-12th, 2015 in Berlin, the experts discussed the technical and strategical challenges of the 'Energiewende'.

Prof. Robert Schlögl, MPI CEC-Director of the Department 'Heterogeneous Reactions' joined the conference and talked to the other experts about successful cooperations between industry and science. They analyzed strategies to deal with the frame conditions and parameters demanded by politics and society.
